This is the second game I worked on, this is assuming that its finished, cause anyone can work on thousands of unfinished games eh ? There was a number of things lacking in the Space Federation Galactic Conquest game I worked on so this version was meant to fill in all the gaps that was left unattended. By around this time I have already resigned from my full time job and started working on both of this games on a full time basis. It wasn't hard to put Unification Wars up because most of the source code libraries and the online games engine itself was already up and running. I basically tooked the existing Space Federation Galactic Conquest engine and modified it changing it to what it is now known as Unification Wars. Eventually the game play is rather different and I have found out that many players prefer either Galactic Conqust or Unifications Wars (either or). Anyhow I continued to work to improve and to make the difference between the two games more notice able... By now the only similarity between the two games is the similarity of the game interface between the two games. Yep of course because I was the one who designed the graphical layouts and the graphical user interface therefore it looks the same (caused designed my the same person). I feel that both the games have their own appeal and attractiveness and hope that more players will join this game in the times to come :) |
